Session Aftercare Guide
Overview & Purpose
A comprehensive guide detailing essential post-treatment instructions. Proper aftercare ensures optimal treatment results, minimizes adverse reactions, and protects client health following clinical procedures.
Key Content Requirements to Provide
General Post-Treatment Care
- Universal guidelines applicable across treatments (e.g., staying hydrated, avoiding direct sun exposure, and applying broad-spectrum SPF 50+ daily).
Category-Specific Aftercare Protocols
- IV Therapy: Keep the injection site clean and dry; avoid heavy lifting or strenuous exercise for 2–4 hours post-infusion; report any unusual localized bruising or swelling.
- Clinical Skin Renewals (FRF, Microneedling, MicroAblation): Avoid active skincare ingredients (Retin-A, AHAs, BHAs, Vitamin C) for 5–7 days; avoid hot showers, saunas, swimming pools, and intense sweating for 24–48 hours; do not pick or scratch shedding skin.
- ZO® Clinical Facials: Maintain barrier protection with prescribed post-procedure creams; avoid heat treatments for 24 hours.
- Body Sculpting: Drink 2–3 liters of water daily to assist lymphatic clearance; maintain light active movement (such as walking) to stimulate circulation.
Expected Side Effects vs. When to Contact the Clinic
- Differentiate normal, temporary reactions (mild redness, light tightness, slight swelling) from rare adverse reactions. Provide urgent contact details for post-treatment concerns.
